RINO (Republican In Name Only) Rep. Mark Sanford is blaming President Donald Trump for being "partially" at fault for Wednesday's shooting incident in Alexandria, Virginia that injured six.

"Indeed, we’re at an inflection point,” Sanford told MSNBC's "Morning Joe" on Thursday. “There are forces at play I’ve never seen before in roughly the 20 years I’ve been involved in politics. And it is indeed different."

"I think we have to watch out as a society because if we don’t watch out, civility is indeed a part of civilized government and an open political system. And if you let these forces play out, I think we end up at a very, very bad spot. I think what happened yesterday was symptomatic of it,” he added.

Sanford then blamed Trump for creating the political climate for the "demons that have been unleashed."

Sanford is partially correct. It is indeed different this time, but if Sanford is so keen on spreading blame, he will have to lump in the millions of conservative Americans who voted for Trump and his MAGA promise.

In trying to fulfill his mandate Trump is faced with incredible odds. He will either have to yield to the political pressure from Democrats, hard-core leftists, and phony Republicans like Sanford, or he will have to resist and push his agenda and face impeachment, or worse -- assassination.

We are well past the "inflection point," the point of no return. As the American "experiment" -- empire, for all you readers of Gibbon and the fall of Rome -- nears the end of its life fewer people believe that the system works any more.

While Sanford calls for a return to civility that train rolled away from the station the moment Trump took the oath of office.

So what are we left with?

Violence. Bloody violence. The likes of which Americans haven't seen or experienced on their home soil in over 150 years.

We would love to hear your thoughts about Rep. Sanford's remarks in the comment section below. Do agree with him that President Trump is partly to blame for creating the conditions for violence to erupt?
