Reverend Franklin Graham is horrified at the recent ruling by the Supreme Court regarding gay marriage.

“Never, though, would I have dreamed that our president would light up the White House with the vivid, bright rainbow colors of the gay movement,” said Graham, who went on to say,

“It was a deliberate, measured step by the president to flaunt and celebrate a disastrous [Supreme Court] ruling that blatantly defies God’s moral law.”

He then takes it to the extreme when it comes to the depravity of society, that he sees us sliding toward. He reaches to the Bible for an interpretation that is quite frightening, particularly to many Christians, with respect to the end times. First he points to the Flood of Noah, in the book of Genesis and how the rainbow appeared in direct relation to God’s acting to “cleanse the earth.”

Next, comes the end;
“‘Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven, wrapped in a cloud, with a rainbow over the head, and his face was like the sun, and his legs like pillars of fire’ (Apostle John-Revelation 10:1).”

It is a frightening concept to be sure. It is even more frightening to consider our nation has a leader pushing us in the direction of apocalyptic doom. However, when one considers the President’s overlooking of dismemberment of babies by Planned Parenthood, allowing his cronies to call for racist murder of whites and cops, and arming enemies who have sworn to kill us, sadly it is not that hard for many Christians to consider the leap Graham is making.
