“It’s not cold-hearted for the president to uphold the law.” And that’s perhaps the take-away from the brief cryptic press briefing exchange between a reporter and Press Secretary Sarah Sanders Huckabee regarding DACA and the new firestorm raging this week in America.

Sanders within a relatively short span of time has become extremely masterful in handling the unhinged press, and unlike her predecessor Shaun Spicer she seldom deals in personalities or gets muddled down in minutia, a tactic that the leftist media loves to engage in, asking the same basic question over and over again, perhaps hoping to trip-up the savvy press secretary, which seldom if ever happens.

And yesterday was no exception as this brief video clip illustrates, Sanders opening the press briefing by announcing Attorney General Jeff Sessions announcement of President Trump’s desire of ending DACA, and giving Congress 6-months to fix the issue, and with that Sanders began taking questions from the press.

Almost immediately a female reporter began the attack using words like “cruel” and “cold-hearted” no doubt picking up on former President Obama’s long winded post on Facebook and using almost the exact same verbiage.

However, Sanders after hearing the line of questioning from the reporter who seemed more intent in making a speech than in gathering news interrupted her brief monologue, and began her response: “It’s not cold-hearted for the president to uphold the law. We’re a nation of law and order and the day we start to ignore the fact that we are that, then we throw away everything that gives these people a reason to want to come to our country.”

Sanders paused a moment and continued: “If we stop becoming the country that we were envisioned to be, then we throw away what makes us special, which makes America unique. This president is not willing to do that, the previous administration was, this one isn’t.”

And perhaps there in lies the issue of what every civilized society aspires, universal and just laws that are universally respected by all its citizens regardless of race, gender or creed.

Do you think Press Secretary Sarah Sanders Huckabee does a good job in represents the White House?
