“That’s horrifying.” Hillary Clinton, October 20, 2016

That’s what Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton had to say at the third presidential debate when her opponent, Donald Trump, refused to commit to accepting the results of the election still three weeks in the future.

Trump was evasive, telling debate moderator Chris Wallace of FOX News, he would “wait and see,” what the results were.

Clinton erupted in self-righteous outrage, accusing Trump of attacking the very democracy she supposedly was defending, launching into a lecture about the electoral process.

“That’s not the way our democracy works. We’ve been around 240 years. We’ve had free and fair elections and we’ve accepted the outcomes when we may not have liked them and that is what must be expected of anyone standing on a debate stage during a general election.”

“And let’s be clear about what he’s saying and what he means. He’s denigrating—he’s talking down our democracy. I for one am appalled that somebody who is the nominee of one of our major two parties would take that kind of position.”

Of course, that was when Clinton was heavily favored to win the election and odds-makers in Las Vegas were even taking bets on the size of her expected landslide.

Things changed around 2 a.m. on the morning of November 9, as Clinton supporters gathered at the Javits Center in New York for a victory party stood in shock as the results provided a very different outcome.

Since then, disappointed Democrats have been in various stages of grief – everything from denial to anger, sobbing to rioting – except acceptance, and it appears that some of them will be taking to the streets to disrupt the inauguration on January 20.

And while there are reports of “counter-inaugurals” being planned in the nation’s capital, there are also hints that the violence that accompanied Democrat protesters during the campaign and the riots after the election may be planned to sabotage not only the event, but Trump’s presidency to right from the start

In fact, according to Fox News commentator and radio talk-show host, Douglas V. Gibbs, the left’s hatred of Trump is so intense that it is ready to boil over to revolution in the streets.

“They’ve been poking the right-of-center groups in the chest for years, trying to instigate a violent response, and they never got it. Now, they may be realizing, it is up to them to initiate the violence. It is up to the leftists to finally launch the true coup. Or, at least that is what a lot of people think.”

Gibbs points to leftist anti-Trump riots in cities across the country during the campaign, including the one in Chicago that was organized by George Soros sponsored La Raza and ANSWER, which are involved in the inauguration protest.

With less than three weeks to go, Washington D.C. police, Secret Service and other law enforcement agencies will be on full alert to make certain nothing interferes with the peaceful transition of power the United States has enjoyed since our first president, George Washington, handed the reins of government to John Adams in 1797.
