Read Heartbreaking Post From Son of Killed NYPD Officer: “Today is the worst day of my life”.
After months of trumped-up racial protests and cowards shouting for cops to be killed, the worst happened: two New York City police officers were executed. A few weeks ago, a gunman ambushed and killed two police officers, Officer Rafael Ramos and Officer Wenjin Liu. The officers were both shot in the head, while they sat in their patrol car on a Saturday afternoon.
The shooter posted the following quotes on Instagram hours before the execution: "I’m Putting Wings on Pigs Today" and "They Take 1 Of Ours…Let’s Take 2 of Theirs". Investigators confirmed that the "execution-style" shooting was revenge for the deaths of Eric Garner and Michael Brown.
Confirming the motive of the shooter has done nothing to console Jaden Ramos, the son of one of the murdered officers. Jaden took to Facebook to express his grief with two heartbreaking posts:
While many people responded with sympathy to this young man who is suffering and mourning the senseless loss of his father’s life, there were heinous comments made about the shooting on Twitter. What kind of disgusting person do you have to be to spit on a dead police officer? This kind:
Nurse Danilo B. tweeted: "How ironic when one posts #BlackLivesMatter we are told to get over it but now two officers died we should remember that #NYPDLivesMatter?"
And Davie D-House tweeted: "@PrisonPlanet If police wanna dress/behave like soldiers @ war with us then I can’t say I’m sorry, after extreme provocation, someone hit back".
Just last week, Officer Ramos celebrated his 40th birthday and at that time, his son wrote on Facebook:
As a patriot and a hero, Officer Ramos absolutely deserved the best birthday. He also deserved a long life of respect and honor.
