How far is too far, is perhaps the question we should all be asking ourselves? No doubt Rapper Azealia Banks has a Constitutional right to spew whatever garbage comes out of her mouth.

However there is a “tipping point” that point of no return that perhaps normal folks cannot imagine, in that there is always some wacko who may actually attempt to act upon someone’s reckless and hateful rant.

In a series of tweets that have since been deleted, Banks called for the brutal gang-rape of former Alaska governor Sarah Palin. It was all supposedly a response to an article that quoted Palin as saying “African-Americans accepted slavery willingly.”

However the article in question that set Banks off into a foul-mouthed response was noting more than a satirical piece, in which Palin was being interviewed, it never actually took place, a humorous article written within that vain, and in which Palin simply commented on, that drew the wrath of Banks.

And perhaps that’s the larger issue, in that apparently Banks rather than doing a little fact checking first, decided to simply attack Palin, by once again playing the race card, which of course seems to be the “go to” narrative for many African-Americans.

Of course Sarah being Sarah took to Facebook to respond to Banks directly, and the former governor of Alaska didn’t pull any punches!

Here are Palin’s comments in full:

Hey Female Rapper – listen up, little darling. No one has any idea what you’re wigging out about in these bizarre, violent rants against me, but you’re obviously not exercising enough intelligence to acknowledge you’ve been sucked into believing some fake interview in which I supposedly offered comments representing the antithesis of my truth.

In this life, you’re blessed to have been given an influential platform. So have I. Why don’t we strengthen both our platforms and work together on something worthwhile – like condemning racism, along with empowering young women to defend themselves against a most misogynist, degrading, devastating assault perpetrated by evil men – rape.

Thanks. And now I’ll go through my young daughter’s playlist to make sure there hasn’t been any inadvertent addition of any anti-woman, pro-rape garbage that you seem to endorse, which perpetuates the cultural challenges we face in America. I encourage other parents to do the same.

God bless you Ms. Banks, as you consider a change of heart.

Azelia has since apologized mist likely fearing the lawsuit. Here is her full apology. Do you think it's sincere or just scared of the money she will have to give up?
