It is well-known in American politics that the Left, more or less, owns Hollywood and Academia. Most of the leftist, commie, vitriolic language tends to come from a college professor or some mindless “1 percent” Hollywood elitist. However, every now and then, a trend is bucked. In the most recent case, Brandeis College was the one doing the bucking.

As Breitbart News reported, a politics professor at Brandeis will no longer be teaching at the leftwing university, after a one-year sabbatical. Essentially, he gets a vacation, and then he can not come back.

Professor Donald Hindley is getting the boot after a 52-year tenure that, reportedly, was wrought with controversy. The reason for abrupt departure? Well, according to Dr. Liberal Hindley, he is leaving because his department has become “too conservative” and has “far fewer activist, liberal-minded people”. In short, he has fewer BFFs to smoke with on breaks and at the cafeteria during lunch.

““I just could not tolerate anymore. It just wasn’t worth tolerating anymore what the place was becoming under Lawrence.”

The source of his leftist rage is directed at current Brandeis University president Frederick Lawrence, over his response to comments about a leaked faculty email scandal. A student journalist Daniel Mael said that emails were distributed to an “official university faculty listserv”, and were comprised of a number of well-known professors at the university. This list included Hindley.

The “Concerned Listserv” seems to be made up leftist, vegetarian, anti-semites who are not too fond of America. It was launched in 2002 by Brandeis professors who were concerned about war with Iraq but it morphed into a faculty mailing list for criticism of the “American system” and “the Israelists”.

This bastion of leftist thinking, apparently, did not tolerate any form of dissenting opinion that they considered “rude”. Though the list's creator Gordon Fellman had some reasonable definitions of rude, such as not putting pork recipes on vegetarian lists. However, unsurprisingly, he also considered it rude to post “right wing harangues” in their mailing list.

In the leaked emails was a signed petition protesting women's rights activist Ayaan Hirsi Ali, who was to receive an honorary degree. Hirsi Ali is known for her critical opinion of Islam and its treatment of women, among other things. The petition stated:

“We cannot accept Ms. Hirsi Ali’s triumphalist narrative of western civilization, rooted in a core belief of the cultural backwardness of non-western peoples.”

Many of the 87 professors involved in the “concerned list” protest of Ayaam Hirsi Ali, had grotesque, barely repeatable comments. Hindley, our Professor Leftist himself, signed the petition because of his “apathy toward Palestinian terror” and their “disdain” for Israel. The terrorist sympathizer, in his most imflammatory statement, called Israel's government “Vile” and “Terrorist”.

This of course was not the only filth that emanated from the anti-semitic professor. One of the emails he sent through the “Concerned List” on the college email server had the subject “Plant a Tree, Bury a Palestinian”. In the email he further ranted about his hatred of Israelis.

“Zionist olive trees grow wondrously on Palestinian corpses. In that way, we combine great trees with our own holocaustic ethnic cleansing.”

This of course is the only garbage to come out of the mouth of this lefty professor, right? Wrong. In 2007, Professor Anti-Semite had yet another controversy involving free speech. This time it was in his classroom according to The Justice. He was approached by his students for using the hispanic racial slur “wetbacks” in the classroom. After Professor Racist disputed the “context” of his word usage his class was monitored by a member of the administration and Hindley was required to attend “sensitivity” training.

This led to the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education, FIRE, placing Brandeis University on its “Red alert” list in 2008 and smeared the school with being “one of the worst” schools for free speech in 2010-2012.

It is uncertain why anyone would find these types of activities on a work computer acceptable. North Carolina University outlines such activities as inappropriate for work email etiquette. It seems the leftist dominated university structure did not prevail and this time one organization did not cave in.
