It is difficult to imagine that there are people who do not want to be free to live as they wish, worship as they wish, and elect their own leaders. Unfortunately that is exactly the case with even the most "moderate" of Muslims in this country.

As reported by Pamela Gellar, in citing Paul Sperry‘s October 1st article in the Investor’s Business Daily (IBD), roughly 58% percent of Muslims in America do not agree with the First Amendment, nearly 50% want those who criticize Islam punished, and 12% want them slaughtered. A Pew Research poll that surveyed Muslim-Americans under the age of 30, reported that 60% of them have more allegiance to their faith than America. Fifty-one percent (51%), according to Polling Company, would rather be governed according to the Shariah.

Sperry goes onto to cite the very words of the Islamist community’s leadership and motives. Some examples include, Omar Ahmad, co-founder of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR);

“Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Quran should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth.”

The Imam Zaid Shair, co-founder of the little heard of Zaytuna College in Berekely, California said this;

“If we put a nationwide infrastructure in place and marshaled our resources, we’d take over this country in a very short time.”

This is no joke and not to be taken lightly. This group means serious business in terms of establishing their Caliphate and they have set their sights on America. The days of pilgrimage to escape tyranny are over and ended 395 years ago with those who came to this land aboard the Speedwell and the Mayflower. There is nowhere else to go.

We better wake up to the fact that war with Islam is not coming here, it is here, and before the blood starts to run, we stand a chance of fixing it with the tools put in place by our Founding Fathers who mandated us to not allow something like this to happen. Freedom takes work and dedication. Tyranny takes laziness and no effort.

We have serious work ahead of us that requires dedication, and faith to the principles of freedom fought for by the men who drafted the Declaration of Independence and wrote our Constitution. While that was 239 years ago, we are still Americans and surely we are up to the task.
