If you’re a parent of teenagers, more likely than not you’ve experienced your own moments of truth, and while most normal teenage infractions are expected, and no doubt drive you crazy, there is an invisible line that once crossed takes whatever issue to a brand new level, and stealing is certainly one of those.

And the punishment handed out by these parents was to force their 16-year old son to stay in a tent in their own backyard, during the day, having his meals brought to him, using the bathroom facilities in the house when needed, and then coming in each night around 9 p.m. and going to bed, and then the next morning back to camping, much like watching “The Brady Bunch” camping out on reruns.

However it seems within this brave new world of political correctness some within this New Mexico town see this as some sort of child abuse, and have reported the parents, Jacob and Angela Boggus to the authorities.

Apparently this youngster as a real problem and the parents claim they’ve tried countless ways to stop him from stealing.

“We’re not doing anything wrong here. We’re simply trying to teach our child a lesson,” Angela Boggus said.

If he doesn’t learn that now, it’s gonna be the whole world’s problem, not just ours, in a couple of years,” the father added.

However with all due respect to all concerned, the issue isn’t of a young adolescent being forced to camp out for a few weeks in his backyard during the day, the issue is of a young adolescent needing counseling for his growing addiction.
