Apparently the propaganda machines were hard at work in the “spin room” of the White House last week, and no doubt even “Pravda” the official newspaper of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union would have been impressed at the ingenious way the administration attempted to censor the French President’s words with some creative and rather clever editing.

The incident took place last week, when President Obama hosted French President Francois Hollande and about 50 other world leaders in Washington, D.C., for a Nuclear Security Summit.

During a press event on terrorism Thursday, Hollande remarked in French that “Islamist terrorism” is at work in Iraq and Syria.

Which apparently through the Obama “spin team” into overdrive in their attempt obliterate the word “Islamist” that they actually cut off the audio of Hollande’s translator at the precise moment the word “Islamist” is uttered, and begins again as he ends the statement.

According to the Media Research Center, which was first to report the cut words, the video was online with the translator’s audio intact but after the White House briefly pulled the video, the translator’s audio was cut.

In the video currently online, even Hollande’s audio is briefly cut, although he is clearly speaking.
The remarks not translated in the video are below:

“Islamist terrorism is in Syria and in Iraq. We therefore have to act both in Syria and in Iraq, and this is what we’re doing within the framework of the coalition.”

Do you think Obama is actually a Islamist terror sympathizer?
