It appears that America will soon have a new face on our $10 dollar bills, and of course the speculation has already begun.

However one thing that is almost certain is that a woman will soon replace the familiar face of perhaps one of our most notable Founders Alexander Hamilton.

And over the past several months there was yet another move to replace the $20-bill with another new face, that of Harriet Tubman, who was an African-American abolitionist, humanitarian, and during the American Civil War, a Union spy, and a woman who led enslaved people to freedom along the Underground Railroad.

While the $20 bill is not set to change, Secretary of the Treasury Jack Lew recently announced that the $10 will change, however the image of a woman, has not yet been named.

“I’m proud to announce today that the new $10 bill will be the first bill in more than a century to feature the portrait of a woman,” Lew told Business Insider. “This historic endeavor has been years in the making.”

Obviously there are many great and historically worthy women that would make excellent additions to those currently on our currency, the new $10 bill is expected to appear in 2020, which marks the 100th anniversary of the 19th amendment.

However to be considered the candidate must be dead, which thank goodness leaves this current crop of so-called progressive feminists out!

Do you think Obama should be messing with who is paid tribute to on our money?

Do you feel Harriet Tubman is more worthy than Alexander Hamilton?
