Since when did our military personnel and facilities become day-care organizations?

President Obama has asked the Pentagon to look into the viability of Fort Hood, Texas being transformed into a holding area for illegal immigrant minors.

Congressmen John Carter and Roger Williams, representing districts in the area, are not happy. “We strongly urge your administration not to house illegal immigrants on any military base,” the men requested via a December 16th letter.

First, we should thank them for the “any military base” part and in keeping the security of our entire nation at the front of their minds. The Congressmen went on;  “…We ask you [Administration] to reaffirm that our military installations exist to project power around the world and to serve our men and women in uniform and their families — not house illegal immigrants.”

While the Congressmen find it “outrageous” that our bases would be transformed in such a way, you might be surprised to learn a few already have: Fort Sill, OK; Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, TX and; Naval Base Ventura County, CA.

We are not the world’s doormat, visitor center, welcome home party, or baby-sitters, and our military does not fight for us to provide these services to the world.

They put their lives on the line to keep us safe and opening our military bases to housing immigrants is wrong. Illegal immigrant minors are only the start.

Pretty soon it will be Syrian refugees.

Just watch.
