President Obama, in addressing the refugee crisis, appears to be going out of his way to bend over backwards for Muslim refugees.

He says there should be no preferential treatment;

“When I hear political leaders suggesting there would be a religious test for which a person who’s fleeing from a war-torn country is admitted…that’s shameful,” and he goes on to say, “That’s not American. That’s not who we are. We don’t have religious tests to our compassion.”

Oh, but we do. In fact, Obama does; his version is screw all who are not Muslim. Fox News’s Todd Starnes reports that Obama’s Administration goes out of its way to deport Christians.

The United States, however, has legislation in place that provides for specific immigration relief on the grounds of religious beliefs; the Lautenberg Amendment.

This is a law that, “prioritizes the resettlement of Jews, Christian’s, Baha’is, and other religious minorities who flee Iran” according to Fox News.

The law has benefited other minority religious groups around the globe as well. Our State Department recognizes that Christians and other minority religious groups should be looked upon favorably, particularly right now, and with respect to Middle Eastern countries or origin.

However, with Obama in office, his defying law and re-writing history according to his whim, to include pretending legislation does not exist, or heck making up his own, is par for the course.
