New High Powered Weapon Designed Specifically to Be Anti-Jihadist
In an effort to combat jihadists and terrorists, a gun manufacturer has developed a special model of the popular AR-15 rifle that it claims to be "Anti-Jihadist" because of Biblical verses and imagery etched into the gun.
The company, Spike's Tactical, calls the modified AR-15 rifle "The Crusader Rifle" and markets it specifically for use in combating Muslim extremists. Spike's Tactical has come up with an ingenious way to try and prevent the rifle from falling into enemy hands--engraving Christian imagery and the text from Psalms 144:1 into the outside of the gun.
“Blessed be the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle,” reads the text along one side of the gun. On the opposite side is the historical sign of the crusades, a flowing cross inscribed inside a shield.
Other interesting modifications to the gun include the safety lever. When the safety is engaged the words next to the safe position read "Peace." When the gun is switched to be ready to fire the words next to the position read "War."
The gun's creators say that they wanted a gun that would help American soldiers overseas if it were ever used. "We wanted to make sure we built a weapon that would never be able to be used by Muslim terrorists to kill innocent people."
Their claim, though somewhat far-fetched, is that Muslims fighting for ISIS or other terror groups wouldn't pick up or fire a rifle bearing Christian imagery and a Bible verse.
While the gesture is sure to make the gun desirable to collectors and others who want to support a gun manufacturer engaged in a good cause, the fact remains that terrorists who make bombs out of everyday items and use rocks and other makeshift weapons will likely use whatever weapons fall into their hands.
But, to the gun designers and builders at Spike's Tactical, this gun is a way for them to fight back against the terrorists who so often target America and her sons and daughters. It's a valued and important effort.
