It’s often been said that our Founding Fathers, in their infinite wisdom, created within those governing documents a method by which every citizen in times of crisis becomes a vital part of a citizen-army.

This by definition forms the basis of our Republic. "A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

And perhaps no other state in America respects and cherishes those words written by our Framers more than Texas.

The Lone Star State stands defiantly and proud of its heritage, that same spirit that held off approximately 1,500 Mexicans in a mission called The Alamo in 1836, for 13-days with approximately 100 Texians, and with nothing more than grit and determination.

Moreover what takes place around the country today, doesn’t quite sit well with Texans, especially when it comes to being politically correct, and we actually witnessed a little of that in your face independence attitude, even as mother nature was reeking havoc last week, as Texas once again showed that “never-say-die” spirit. Even as the floodwaters rose, Texans stood proudly defiant with a scribbled homemade sign that simply stated to anyone foolish enough to rob victims of Hurricane Harvey…”YOU LOOT WE SHOOT!”

Now a Texas cop who works as a firearms instructor is putting protesting snowflakes across America on notice, informing them that if they’re caught destroying a monument, they’ll most likely meet the same faith as those few looters who foolishly attempted to loot and got shot.

Officer Phil Ryan recently went on social media, to publicly warn Antifa, BLM, or anyone who thinks they’re bad enough to bring their anti-American antics to Texas, stating: “I am posting this as a public service announcement, in Texas, Criminal Mischief (Vandalism) is a crime. So, let’s say someone is defacing or destroying a monument or a statue, not that it happens, just a hypothetical. That would be Criminal Mischief under Texas Penal Code.”

Moreover, The Lone Star State is the only state in the union allowing citizens to open carry their weapons, which simply means don’t mess with Texans.

Do you think it would be good for America if more states followed Texas’s lead?
