Michael Moore’s Response To The Baltimore Riots.. ‘Disarm The Police’
It seems that Michael Moore can’t get enough of himself, the fledgling filmmaker and propagandist is once again tweeting like a humming-bird, in yet another bizarre rant.
The rotund filmmaker rather than using film to propagate a false narrative as he did in “Fahrenheit 911.” This time “demanding” that police be disarmed and “every African American’ currently in prison for nonviolent offences be immediately released.
However this isn’t the first time Moore has used the internet to create a little publicity buzz for himself, shortly after “American Sniper” made its blockbuster debut, Moore tweeted "snipers aren't heroes", and then went on to double down on his vile attack of an American hero.
This latest publicity stunt had some in the media scratching their heads. In the first tweet, sent at 3:16 a.m., Moore wrote: “Imprison u, shoot u, sever your spine, crush your larynx, send u to war, keep u poor, call u a thug, not let u vote. But u can sing for us.”
In his second tweet, he wrote: “Here’s my demand: I want every African-American currently incarcerated for drug ‘crimes’ or nonviolent offenses released from prison today.” And followed by yet another tweet: “Disarm the police. We have a 1/4 billion 2nd amendment guns in our homes 4 protection. We’ll survive til the right cops r hired.”
Imagine for a moment drug dealers and felons being released from prison and no one to protect the people, sounds absurd? Not if you’re a clever marketer who knows how to skillfully interject himself into current issues or tragedies.
If anything Moore is good at getting the exact reaction he wants from his audience, in “Fahrenheit 911” Moore purposely goes “black” on the screen at the exact moment of impact as the planes hit the Twin Towers, and the next visual the audience sees is a dreamlike sequence of papers slowly drifting in the wind, followed by an extremely graphic visual of American planes bombing a terrorist camp, as people are running and screaming.
