It looks like a lot of NFL players just won't relent, still insisting on taking a knee and disrespecting the American flag. Some players are taking the sentiment even further. This was the case with 49ers safety Eric Reid who made an absolutely asinine comment about Mike Pence.

The Vice President was in attendance at a game between the Indianapolis Colts and San Francisco 49ers. As is the norm now, several players, including Reid, took a knee during the national anthem. Pence was upset by the gesture and briefly exited the stadium.

After the game, Reid had some not-so-nice things to say about Pence, calling his actions a form of "systematic oppression." Insert eye roll.

In Reid's own words:

"This is what systematic oppression looks like. A man with power comes to a game, tweets a couple of things out and leaves the game with an attempt to thwart our efforts."

He also suggested Pence's move was merely a PR stunt.

It should be noted that Reid was one of several players to kneel alongside Colin Kaepernick last year, starting this whole debacle.

Pence later released a statement that he refused to be present for any event that disrespected the U.S. servicemembers.

It's also worth pointing out that all the players of the Colts showed class and remained standing during the anthem.

At this point, the majority of Americans think the NFL players taking a knee are just being crybabies and being duped by the progressive crowd pushing social justice. The players are not only hurting their own reputation but also damaging the very brand that's paying their inflated salary. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you.

Is Reid just another wannabe Kaepernick? Do you just want to watch football and are getting sick of the social justice narrative that has infiltrated a beloved American sport?
