“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.” Joseph Goebbels

And if you’re a 19-year old liberal college student looking to upstage a conservative presidential candidate who happens to be named Bush, well all the better. And what better way to do that then with a predictable tirade of factual falsehoods leveled by University of Nevada student Ivy Ziedrich when she confronted Jeb Bush and declared “Your brother created ISIS!”

And with that ridicules statement Ivy Ziedrich became an instant media sensation. . Interviews with ABC News, the New York Times, and other outlets followed, with reporters eager to hear her thoughts on the Middle East. And while Ms. Ziedrich is no expert, there is one thing she said that is all too true: “It’s frustrating to see politicians ignore the origins of our conflicts abroad.”

So perhaps a little history lesson is in order According to the traditional Muslim outlook, humanity is divided into two groups: the followers of Islam who are called "believers," and all non-Muslims, who are called "infidels." It is the duty of the Muslims to propagate the one true faith “Islam” throughout the world. Should the infidels refuse to embrace Islam, jihad is the means to be used to vanquish them.

From 623 to 777, a span of 154 years, there were 83 military conflicts involving Muslims, approximately one battle every two years. Is Islam a religion of peace? Muslims say it is.  But the facts speak otherwise, and on September 11th 2001 America witnessed once again this peaceful religion up close and personal. And "oh yes", ISIS was “created” by a failed military strategy by the current character in the White House…are you paying attention Ivy?
