What is wrong with saying God Bless America? What is wrong with the Pledge of Allegiance? Truthfully, there is absolutely nothing wrong with either. What is wrong, is the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). The ACLU is, and always has been, on the warpath for destroying the underpinnings of patriotism rooted in the fabric of our nation’s founding, and of course any reference to God.

In their lasted display of tyranny, they have threated to sue the Glenview Elementary School of New Jersey unless they end the practice of saying God Bless America, post-Pledge of Allegiance. According to the ACLU; “…invoking God’s blessing as a daily ritual is unconstitutional and in violation of the Establishment Clause, since it allegedly promotes religious over non-religious beliefs, especially with young, impressionable children.”

Really? That is their beef? What about teaching our kids about two moms, two dads, gender identification, and sex-ed while they are “young” and “impressionable?”

The school says that after the September 11th attacks of 2001, the school began to recite the pledge, following by the request for blessing. Principal Sam Sassano said that doing say, became a way to show support for our first responders and the victims of the god-awful day. “Now it’s part of the culture here.”

That’s a problem according to the ACLU. The organization has way too much time on their hands and way too much money to spend to go after something such as this. Rather than go after those who institute forced immorality on our young people, bus them to abortions, pass out birth control, and tell them to do what they please, the ACLU goes after the Pledge of Allegiance and request for blessing.

Perhaps the ACLU ought to be requesting a blessing from the Almighty, because that might be the only thing to save them from the toilet they are flushing themselves down.

The parents should march on the school, do a sit-in in the ACLU offices, wherever they are, and invoke God Bless America after every statement made to the jerks.

Presidential candidate and Governor, Chris Christie has an opportunity to show some leadership here. He should consider doing so.
