Latino Vote Growing For Trump, Sliding For Hillary in Historic State Swing
With the backing Bernie Sanders and what is perhaps the biggest about-face of any politician in the history of elections in our country, every pundit in the media circus is wondering if Donald Trump will be able to hold a candle to the support of Hillary Clinton. It's a valid question, but thankfully news has come out that gives conservatives in this country hope that we won't have another four years of Obama-style doctrine.
A recent poll in the state of Florida showed that Trump is doing better in that state than anyone previously thought. And it's not just among whites.
Trump is polling stronger than Hillary among the critical demographic of Hispanics and Latinos. Among all voters Trump is expected to lead Hillary 47 percent to 42 percent, just outside of most polls margins for error. But among Hispanics Trump leads a whopping 49 percent to 36 percent. And that's the ratio that's most important to Trump supporters.
You see, everyone is predicting that Hillary will destroy Trump with the ethnic vote. And she does poll exceptionally well among African Americans and other races.
But Hispanics are a society that values strong male personas. People who can get things done and aren't afraid to talk about it are highly praised in their culture.
So it shouldn't come as a surprise that Trump is doing so well. Trump's Florida support doesn't come from the bigger cities but instead from the inland farming regions. It is even more proof that the person who is doing the best at mobilizg the everyday voter in America isn't the one who is promising free handouts, but the one who is promising a stronger and better future. And that's a vision that is very strong among Hispanics.
So, whether or not you believe it, Trump may actually do better among Hispanics than any of us ever thought.
