So let me get this straight, our illustrious “king” in the White House is against any form of voter ID registration, but apparently has no problem and would be in favor of forcing people to vote…which of course defies common sense and logic

And yet that’s exactly what is being proposed by this administration, and although one might foolishly question that convoluted logic, one thing is clear; Obama’s proposal is anything but foolish or illogical because it has nothing to do with voter rights, and everything to do with control!

And that’s the message that was cleverly hidden while speaking to a civic group in Cleveland on Wednesday.

"If everybody voted, then it would completely change the political map in this country," Obama said, calling it potentially transformative. Not only that, Obama said, but universal voting would "counteract money more than anything."

If nothing else Obama is constant in his continued attempt to “transform America”, simply take a quick inventory on how he’s been able to accomplish this transformation, by first gutting our immigrations laws and then attempting to give illegal aliens a quick path to citizenship under the guise of amnesty, and which if his proposal of mandatory voting ever became a reality, it would almost assure a one party rule, which would inevitably change our Republic for decades to come, and perhaps forever.

Our Founders understood that no free society that claims to be truly free, should ever force it’s citizens to vote, they knew that human nature being what it is that some would be less interested in the political process, less informed, preoccupied, or simply lazy, and that was their right, and while I might believe that it’s my civic duty to vote, other might not.

The irony of course is while progressives and academics alike point to Americas low voting turnout they also admit that forcing Americans to vote would in effect boost the redistribution efforts of government, transferring wealth from those who earned it to those who did not, in short-changing the very principles of a free, open and market driven society and according to the Center for European Policy Studies; “In undemocratic regimes it is often the case that political and social pressure, intimidation or other means drive people to the polls, this was the case in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe and still occurs in Central Asia and North Korea.”

Thankfully not even King Obama can change the voting laws without a “Constitutional Amendment, although he said it would be “fun” to try. He continued, “Realistically, given the requirements of that process, that would be a long-term proposition.”
