Freedom, for Christians, has finally come to the movie industry.

In the wake of wildly successful films like the historic Ten Commandments and Ben Hur, or Mel Gibson’s the Passion of the Christ, and the more recent, Fireproof, Courageous, Unstoppable, Do You Believe, and of course Kevin Sorbo’s God’s Not Dead, the Christian movie industry has proven to be a force to be reckoned with and they are not slowing down.

Sorbo, of “Hercules” notoriety, and devout Christian, has a new movie in the works called “The Christmas Gift.”

The movie, as he describes it will be “unashamed and unabashed in everything Christmas stands for…”

The film’s producer, Frank DeMartini, says “This is not a holiday movie. It’s a Christmas movie.”

The movie will cost the non-traditional filmmakers, who are steering clear of the traditional Hollywood industry, about $2.5-Million, that they will raise via crowd-funding.

Christians can help out with this effort, so be sure to watch for the Indiegogo campaign launch.
