Things must be pretty slow and dull in Kathy Griffin-land.

Months after the aging hack-tress went after Donald Trump's head posing in an obscene photograph, Griffin went for the president's jugular at New York Magazine's Yashar Ali over the weekend.

“Why are people still expecting me to apologize and grovel to a man that tweets like this?” Griffin said defiantly. “I’m a comedian; he’s our f***ing president.”

Which shows exactly how hollow and gratuitous were the words in Griffin's original apology.

The one-act jackass captured headlines earlier this year after appearing in a staged photograph of her holding Trump's bloody severed head.

She thought it was funny.

The firestorm of outrage on social media forced Griffin eventually to make a public apology -- in the presence of her attorney, of course.

Now, roughly half a year after her pictorial hatchet job against the president, Griffin is at it again.

“President Trump just pardoned Joe Arpaio, who was essentially running a concentration camp in the Arizona desert,” she added. “He said there are some good Nazis, and he’s kicking out young adults who were brought here as kids by their parents, and I’m the one who has to continue to apologize?”

Griffin, like all good liberals, thinks word-play can somehow criminalize immigration law -- which Arpaio enforced to the letter -- as if by magic.

Griffin obviously has never been in a concentration camp, where they do sever heads. And she clearly has no idea what a Nazi is and likes to throw the term around like confetti.

She must think people are blind as well as stupid to believe she is opposed to violence, even symbolic violence against the president.

“OBVIOUSLY, I do not condone ANY violence by my fans or others to anyone, ever! I’m merely mocking the Mocker in Chief,” Griffin said shortly after the photo shoot.

Curious, but what do you think would happen if Trump appeared in a photo hoisting Griffin's decapitated grinning noggin?

Would that be considered "merely mocking" conduct by the president?

Just thinking out loud.

Do you think Griffin is using President Trump to keep her in the public eye and save her faltering career?
