Kansas Sec. Of State Faces Trial By Obama’s Feds For Making Voters Show THIS Before Voting
"This disproportionately hits 18 to 24-year-olds."
"For a lot of them, they say, 'I'm not going to worry about it.' They’re busy, and this is just one more thing to do."
Those words were spoken by Douglas County Clerk, Jamie Shew-Democrat are key words to this whole nightmare. Ms. Shew was taking issue with the fact that one must prove their identity as a citizen of Kansas to vote. She is supported by high school senior, Amelia Flores, who said that, “…they don’t have time to get this stuff [voter registration] done. Some of them don’t have access to their birth certificate,” and are working multiple jobs.
So, just because a young person is too lazy to get off their butt and order their birth certificate, the rest of the citizens of this country should just be okay with them not doing their civic duty and proving themselves to be who they say they are?
The answer is yes, as Kansas Secretary of State, Kris Kobach just found out. Kobach, in doing his job, ensuring legal voting is transpiring, and protecting the citizenry’s rights, is being drug into a federal lawsuit.
The secretary of a state, charged with ensuring American citizens are afforded their rights, who in doing his job, upholding the Constitution of the United States, is being prosecuted by Obama cronies. What a surprise.
President Obama placed his hand on the Bible and swore to defend the Constitution. Instead he is doing everything he can to counter it and destroy it, to include legally attacking others who choose to do the job he won’t. Disgusting.
We should all be praising Secretary Kobach for working for the American people, because of President and his federal judiciary sure aren’t.
