It’s always important to put whatever issue being discussed into its proper context. In that legendary iconic actor Robert De Niro has every right to criticize whomever he likes, it’s a free country, and he can even insult, demean, humiliate and degrade with impunity even the Republican Presidential Nominee for President, Donald Trump, however what he can’t do is threaten a “PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE”…that Bobby is a “FEDERAL CRIME!”

And that’s perhaps where we need to focus our attention, in that progressives seem to have reached a new standard of low even for them, not content with outright insults and personal attacks with those they disagree with, they now resort to intimidation, and threats of violence, which perhaps is an indication as to how desperate they’ve become in their support of Hillary Clinton.

Moreover the apparent meltdown of De Niro had another legendary actor Jon Voight coming to the defense of Trump, responding in a post: “I don’t know of too many men who haven’t expressed some sort of similar sexual terms toward women, especially in their younger years,” Voight wrote on Twitter Saturday. “Donald Trump’s words were not as damaging as Robert De Niro’s ugly rant.”

Voight continued: “Trump’s words did not hurt anyone. Can you imagine if any Republican said words like Robert De Niro used – against Hilary Clinton or Barack Obama? All hell would break loose.”

And there lies the issue, in that if anyone needs to be condemned, it’s De Niro himself for not having the self-control to stop at the insults, and crossing that line into where we should “never go!”
