Jimmy Kimmel has made it no secret that he's a champion of progressive causes. This was clearly apparent when he crusaded for universal healthcare, using his own son's health problems as the reason for his stance. Kimmel is at it again, this time using the tragic Las Vegas shooting to score points with his liberal-leaning audience.

Ever since the senseless massacre that left at least 59 concert goers dead and over 500 injured, the late night talk show host has been opining for stricter gun control laws.

In one rant on his show, he shifted the blame to everyone who supports the second amendment. Kimmel had this response to those who said the nation should put the gun control issue aside for the time being to mourn as a nation:

"Well maybe it's too soon for you because deep down inside you know in your heart, you know you bear some responsibility for the fact that almost anyone can get any weapon they want and now you want to cover yourself until the storm of outrage passes."

Kimmel and his ilk love to bring up gun control in the wake of a mass shooting. Yet, they're remarkably silent in the shootings that occur daily in urban areas like Chicago and Detroit, despite the fact that day-to-day inner city shootings claim far more casualties.

Kimmel, like any typical liberal, uses emotion to appeal to their audience instead of using fact-based arguments. Speaking of facts, here is an excellent rebuttal to Kimmel's argument by Ben Shapiro. In the video, Shapiro actually uses facts backed up by statistical analysis to explain why Kimmel is way off mark regarding gun ownership and gun violence.

You see, liberal arguments are hardly ever rooted in reality and almost always based on emotion. Kimmel is using the Las Vegas tragedy because it's an emotionally-charged incident.

Do you think Kimmel should be taken off air for spreading nonsense like this?
