Bernie Sanders Tax Return Made Public – Amount He Paid Is A SHOCKER…
If anyone still needs a reason to hate politicians, look no further than anti-establishment candidate Bernie (Bernard) Sanders, our own resident and self-described “Socialist!”
Who for decades has been promoting the merits of this Utopian form of governance and of course denouncing capitalism and the free market as a greedy self-serving system by those who game the system to benefit themselves at the expense of others!
However when it comes too actually “practicing what he preaches” well that’s a totally a different story, and perhaps a “SHOCK” to the legion of dedicated and perhaps “brain-dead” young followers, who actually take Sanders at his word when he demands that the “rich” pay their fair share.
And no doubt ol Bernie practices what he preaches, or does he?
On Friday ol Bernie released his 2014 tax returns, and surprise, surprise, ol Bernie paid just 13.5% in taxes on a salary of $205,617, which is less than the average taxes that most wage earners pay.
Bernie’s effective federal tax rate: 13.4%

Bernie Sanders paid $27,653 in federal income taxes in 2014, a federal tax rate of 13.5%, according to tax return https://t.co/1xVpuphLQY

The returns also show that the couple gave $8,350 as gifts to charity and paid $27,653 in federal income taxes.
However tax returns aside, and perhaps the biggest hypocrisy of all is how Sanders justifies all of this stating: “Unfortunately, I remain one of the poorer members of the United States Senate. And that’s what that will show.”
@YahooNews confused how he and his wife have enough deductions to get them from 28% bracket for their salaries & investments down to 13.5%

Perhaps we need to redefine the term “poor” in that by “politicians standards” an income of $205,617, and a payout of just 13.5% paid in taxes is considered “poor”…one can only imagine how may hard-working Americans wish they could be that “poor’?
If Bernie Sanders really only paid 13.5% tax rate, he paid LESS than Mitt Romney who was at about 14-15%. LESS than fucken Mitt Romney.
