SCUMBAG ALERT: Hillary Is Openly Taking Money From Foreign Governments
For those who saw a prim rose-lined pathway to a Hillary Clinton presidency in 2016, perhaps should think again. Benghazi, Benghazi, Benghazi, could that be the rope that will hang her career? No. However, it does have to do with foreign countries, and some foreign green. According to the Washington Post, the Clinton foundation has been raking in foreign dollars since 2014, ahead of a presumed 2016 presidential run. This would obviously be a conflict.
The irony of bizarre move is that Clinton's actually had a self-imposed rule, prior to this, not to receive foreign donations. With her potential 2016 presidential run, and the appearance of impropriety already, Mrs. Clinton seems perfectly fine with accepting a controversial source.
According to the Wall Street Journal, one of her donors is from a Canadian government agency ... who happens to promote the bane of her constituencies existence, the Keystone XL pipeline. The Inquisitr listed some of the other contributors, such as, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Australia, Germany. Also, Norway, Italy, and the Netherlands, among others, paid in cash.
That does not even include, as the Inquisitr also reported, the $81 billion from seven unnamed donors utilizing the infamous "swiss bank accounts". The same accounts labeled by Big 'D's and Lefties as "tax dodges" or "tax shelters".
However, the Clinton's did make an announcement through their "charitable" foundation, to dispel the controversy.
“The Clinton Foundation has strong donor integrity and transparency practices that go above and beyond what is required of U.S. charities and well beyond the practices of most peer organizations. This includes the voluntary, full disclosure of donors on our website for anyone to see.”
Sadly, for Mrs. Clinton, this is not the first questionable money she had made. Questions arose, during Bill Clinton's administration, about her investment in "Cattle futures" in the late 1970s. The report that is written up by the ultra conservative New York Times.
One way, or the other, this comes at a very inopportune time for a Clinton before a big potential presidential one.
