Hillary Clinton Says There’s One Group She Won’t Pander To
Hillary Clinton has proved that she will try and collect money from anybody. The list of Clinton Foundation donors stretches a mile long and includes such names as the Saudi Arabian government amid a list that includes many more disreputable names. But there's one name that Clinton has said she won't pander to.
That group is filled with American manufacturers, American citizens, and provides thousands of jobs and millions of dollars of income to Americans--gun lobbyists.
In a speech to the Circle of Mothers Conference held in Miami, Florida, Clinton took the opportunity to fling mud at Clinton instead of consoling the mothers attending the conference who have lost children to gun violence.
"At the NRA annual convention, Donald Trump said in his very first hour as president — heaven forbid — he would overturn President Obama’s action to strengthen background checks," Clinto said, focusing on being disparaging towards the Republican presidential front-runner and presumptive nominee.
Tickets to the conference cost attendees an exorbitant $1,500 each, all to hear Hillary speak about Donald Trump instead of putting forward any solutions to gun violence.
"This is somebody running for president of the United States of America, a country facing a gun violence epidemic, and he is talking about more guns in our schools," Clinton said.
While it's true that Trump has said he would roll back Obama's sweeping gun movements, Clinton isn't proposing anything that would actually solve gun violence and take away weapons from dangerous criminals. All her and Obama's increased background checks would do is make it harder for regular citizens to apply for and receive firearms.
Does Hillary care about that, about proposing real solutions that will solve the problems being faced in the country?
All she cares about is slinging mud at Trump.
"Unlike Trump, I will not pander to the gun lobby." True Hillary, but you'll pander to foreign governments and everyone else first. That's not any better and you know it.
