"Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it." That prolific quote or a version of it has been uttered countless times throughout our history and attributed to a number of world leaders, and the phrasing itself certainly is catchy, not only because it is so common, but also because it is so true, and the parallels of where we are today as a civilization mirrors back to an ugly time within our past.

The brutal execution of a captured “Mossad spy” by an 11-year old boy, is reminiscent of the infamous “youth movements” of the late 1930’s in Nazi Germany, then as now young children were indoctrinated into a world of depravity.

The video although heavily edited captures this young child coolly placing the pistol behind the head of the orange clad, 19-year old, and appears to shoot the alleged spy at point-blank range, then the child lifts his pistol high in the air and in celebration shouts “Allahu Akbar” (God is great), before firing another and final shot into the lifeless body.

And while it cannot be confirmed with certainty if the child actually pulled the trigger one thing is certain the child was “well trained” so noted Veryan Khan a spokesperson for TRAC a Florida based company that analysis the authenticity of videos, she continued that the video looked “genuine” and then referenced the child saying, 'Notice how he takes his finger off the trigger after firing and rests it to the side of the trigger? He wasn't red in the face and wasn't even shaking. This indicates proficiency with a pistol, only people who are trained know to rest their finger to the side.' She also pointed out that the production team were the same which put together an ISIS video of a child executing other “spies” that was released in January.

Whether the child actually pulled the trigger or not is irrelevant, in that the harm has already been done, then like now Hitler’s “youth movement” was planting the seeds of hate and like ISIS creating another generation of mass-murders, who’s only goal is to hate what they don’t understand, however if history is indeed a guidepost to the future, in that "Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it." then they will themselves eventually meet the same faith and the same end as those that promoted  a twisted and perverse ideology so long ago.
