“Grape Soda” Caused the Death of Tennessee Girl, Parents Charged.
A couple in Tennessee have been charged in a shockingly twisted case of child abuse and endangerment. The couple forced their five year old daughter Alexis to drink over two liters of grape soda, along with water, over a short period of time. This was her punishment for taking some of stepmother Mary Lavonne Vaughn's stash of soda. The amount of liquids that the girl consumed then caused her brain to swell and resulted in her death.
The parents of the beautiful, little, five year old girl who lost her life had no idea what they were doing when it comes to punishment as this is not the first time the couple has been accused of bizarre behavior. What five year old needs such an extreme form of discipline? Since when is a timeout not enough for such a young child? This story should be a lesson to all parents, it should be a lesson to our world.
