In the abnormal wacky world of academia, progressive orthodoxy can best be described as a “cult” or as“devotion” with perhaps the same rigid standards to that of any religion practiced by parishioners; in short “progressivism” is their house-of-worship, and to many within the refined world of higher learning, if you question their precept, you’ve committed blasphemy and a desecration of their “progressive principles.”

And it’s within that warped context that perhaps best explains a Georgetown professor’s month long meltdown after a Muslim colleague wrote an op-ed explaining why she voted for President-elect Donald Trump.

Asra Q. Nomani, a Muslim woman and former Georgetown journalism professor and Wall Street Journal reporter, wrote in the Washington Post, on November 10th, why as a “long-time liberal,” she voted for Donald Trump.

Writing within her op-ed article, “I support the Democratic Party’s position on abortion, same-sex marriage and climate change, but I am a single mother who can’t afford health insurance under Obamacare.”

This sent Georgetown Associate Professor and former “friendly colleague,” C. Christine Fair, into a rapid and rabid month-long tirade of rants, condemnations and insults, across the entire internet, including Twitter and Facebook.

Moreover when Nomani complained once again on December 23rd to the university about Professor Fair’s continued month-long meltdown and abusive behavior, Fair doubled down calling her former colleague a “wretch,” “clueless dolt” and a "fame-monger", among other demeaning terms.

However true to progressive dogma, Fair didn’t stop there comparing Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler, and then continuing her bizarre rant by asserting that Nomani’s vote “helped normalize Nazis in DC.”

Fair is doing her best to not be held accountable for her attacks:

Nomani remained remarkably civil under the barrage of unwarranted attacks by the loony leftist professor stating; “The attacks against me by a professor at Georgetown University are particularly disturbing because Georgetown gave me a home to complete the investigation of the murder of my friend and colleague Danny Pearl by militants in Pakistan,”

She continued; “I would like to see Georgetown uphold its values for peace and civil discourse. And I would gently urge anyone who is as disturbed as I am about Prof. Fair’s conduct to remain civil and not engage in any personal attacks because we have to be the civility we want to see in the world.”

Repeated requests for comment by either the university or Fair have yet to be acknowledged.

Do you think this professor should be fired for her bullying of this Muslim woman?
