Since the unprovoked terrorist attack in Paris on Nov. 13, which left 130 people dead and hundreds wounded, the French Government has taken a hard-line towards Mosques that the government deems a national security threat, and within days of the attack the French Interior Minister began announcing that the government would began shutting down certain prayer rooms out of concern that they were contributing to Islamic radicalization.

Then in January, it was reported that the French government was shutting down additional mosques due to weapons being found in them.

Not surprising several of these mosques have been raided, revealing a “staggering” number of weapons and ammunition. Sunday, authorities conducted a raid on a mosque in Lagny-sur-Marne, 18 miles east of Paris, and uncovered 334 weapons and a large quantity of 7.62mm Kalashnikov ammunition, along with ISIS propaganda videos.

Police also turned up recordings of chants “glorifying the martyrs of jihad linked to the terrorist organization Jabhat al-Nusra,” the Syrian branch of Al-Qaeda.

The chants were found among teaching materials for youth in a madrassa, or private religious school for boys, connected to the mosque.

However France like many European capitals had for decades turned a blinds eye towards Muslim aggression, allowing for entire neighborhoods to be turned into “no-go-zones” in which actual radicalization was taking place, within the city of Paris.

The French government is now on track to close down 100 mosques in France to help stem the tide of jihadist terror attacks.

Do you think the United States should be taking stronger steps to shut down Mosques here that have any known terrorist ties?
