One of President-elect Donald Trump's key points that he campaigned on was that he was going to bring back more jobs to the United States. Now, even before Trump has stepped foot in office, he has shown that he is going to deliver on that promise and is already working hard to do so. Now, Ford just released a huge announcement that is going to bring even more jobs to the American people and you can probably guess who we have to thank for that.

On Tuesday, Ford Motor Company made a major announcement that they will scrapping plans to build a $1.6 billion plant in Mexico. Instead Ford has said that they will be pouring $700 million into their preexisting Michigan plant, which will no doubt create tons of new jobs that will stay in America.

Ford stated that the decision was based on the "pro-growth policies" that Trump has been working to establish in America and will continue to create as he takes office.

Trump had been opposed to Fords plan to build the Mexican plant, but after the announcement, Trump tweeted a link to a story about Ford's announcement and added a few words: "Instead of driving jobs and wealth away, AMERICA will become the world's great magnet for INNOVATION & JOB CREATION."

"We’re doing this decision based on what’s right for our business," said Mark Fields, Ford's CEO, to Fox Business Network's Neil Cavuto. "As we think about the investments here in Michigan, as you can imagine, Neil, we look at a lot of factors as we make those. One of the factors that we’re looking at is a more positive U.S. manufacturing business environment under President-elect Trump and some of the pro-growth policies he said he’s going to pursue. And so this is a vote of confidence."

This isn't the first company Trump has helped convince to keep operations and jobs in America. Earlier in December, air conditioner and furnace maker Carrier announced that they would be keeping their operations in Indiana after weeks of negotiating with Vice President Mike Pence.

This is all before Trump and Pence have even taken office. Just imagine the type of job growth we can expect from these two over the next four years. Obama must be furious that Trump is already on a better trajectory in a few weeks than he ever was in 8 years.

Please share this on Facebook and show what Trump is doing to bring the jobs back to America.
