The host a CNN news program was stunned by the outburst of an angry mother to a statement made by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton about the events surrounding the terrorist attacks in Benghazi on September 11, 2012.

While viewing a video clip of January 2013 testimony by the former Secretary Patricia Smith whose son was killed that night blurted out, “She’s lying! She’s absolutely lying!”

Sean Smith was acting information management officer with the United States Foreign Service at the time of the attack and was one of four Americans, including Ambassador Christopher Stevens, killed in the attacks made at the U.S. Consulate on the 11th anniversary of 9/11.

Smith’s mother stunned CNN Newroom host Carol Costello when she exposed Clinton’s shocking failure to “get back to her” following the funeral of her son.

“She has not called me. She has not contacted me. She has not given me any information,” said Patricia Smith, “except to tell me that I am not a member of the immediate family and I do not need to know.”

An incredulous Costello asked, “They told you that?”

Smith repeated her claim, “She promised, but no one has contacted me.”

Costello did not follow up to ask how the mother of a murdered member of the U.S. Foreign Services was “considered not a of immediate family” who would deserve answers to questions about her son’s death.

“I saw on TV the bloody fingerprints on the walls over there. I asked specifically, ‘Are those my son’s fingerprints crawling down the walls?' Somebody’s got to tell me!”

Smith was present at Dover Air Force Base days after the Benghazi assault as the bodies of the American casualties were brought home.

The arrival ceremony was broadcast on television and Clinton was seen hugging the family members and offering her condolences.

Smith, and other family members, say Clinton told them that an anti-Islam video had prompted the assault on the consulate.

Smith’s mother was blunt in her assessment.

"I keep flashing back on my son receiving the telephone call that says 'Sorry, there's no help coming, you're on your own.' And I can picture his face as he was about to die. Why didn't our government and our military go in to help him and all of the others who were there? Nobody cared enough. They were covering their butts for something."

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton testified before the House Select Committee for the Events Surrounding the 2012 Terrorist Attack in Benghazi for 11 hours on Thursday.

The Obama administration immediately circulated a story that angry crowds had spontaneously arrived at the consulate after news of the video spread in the city. President Obama and Clinton videotaped an apology to Muslims that was broadcast in Pakistan.

What a joke this administration is.
