Desperate For Cash, ISIS Harvesting Organs From Shocking New Source
A year after the Obama administration became aware of a document issued by the Islamic State’s Research and Fatwa Committee approving the deliberate removal of organs from non-believers, such as Christians, Jews and those who have strayed from the strict rules of Islam, new evidence has emerged that ISIS is now trafficking in human organs to raise funds for its terror activities.
The ruling, which was found by U.S. Special Forces in a raid in Syria in May 2015, declared “The apostate's life and organs don't have to be respected and may be taken with impunity,” specifically stating that doing so while a captive is alive to save a Muslim life, even if fatal to the captive, is acceptable.
The religious pronouncement is Fatwa Number 68, suggesting that the ISIS “Committee” has previously issued tens of similar decisions coldly rationalizing the barbarism that has become the trademark of the terror group as it sweeps through Syria and Iraq with the stated goal of establishing a regional caliphate.
In February, Iraqi officials told the United Nations that ISIS sells the organs of victims, and even its own recruits, on the black market for cash.
The Times of India reported that a source in Iraq’s second-largest city, Mosul, said the Muslim terror group executed 12 doctors who refused to comply with orders for organ harvesting.
The news comes amid continued reports of ISIS atrocities in Mosul where ISIS fighters brutally murdered four nuns and 12 employees at a Catholic charity begun by Mother Teresa of Calcutta, and executed 250 girls and many of their family members for their refusal to become ISIS sex slaves
President Obama has authorized an additional 200 Army personnel to the area, bringing the total number of American troops in Iraq to 5,000, far more than the administration has admitted.
The President told CBS News on April 19, “My expectation is that by the end of the year, we will have created the conditions whereby Mosul will eventually fall.”
