There is no Christian commandment for thou shalt not kill. The commandment is “Thou shalt not murder.” This according to Senator Ted Cruz, and many Biblical translations.

Mull that around for a bit and consider it in the context of war. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), has mulled it around and he is very clear on his position when it comes to defending this country.

“Defending yourself is an obligation of any president. It is not murder.”

Cruz spoke those word to The Hard Line’s Ed Berliner.

When the “face of evil” declares war on you then “ is the essence of duty to defend your nation, to defend the innocent.”

He points out that such is the case with America and the Jihadists attempting to spread their Caliphate to our land.

He also makes the point that President Obama, and Hillary Clinton “refuse to acknowledge” that fact.

Senator Cruz is one-hundred-plus percent correct. You do not win wars by appeasing your enemy. You do not win wars by worrying about collateral damage.

You win wars by mercilessly beating your enemy down into a position of complete and utter submission. Yes, people will die—bad and good.

Nothing less than the willingness to put on the mantle of war is required of a president.

Do you think Ted Cruz has what it takes to fight and win the war we are, in fact, in?
