Cop Hears Strange Question From Woman And Immediately Takes Action
It isn’t too often that we learn of something good happening it when it comes to our men and women in blue. The mainstream media goes out of their way to dig up dirt on a bad officer and try to portray all officers in the light of the one bad apple.
As this is very much the case when it comes to news regarding law enforcement, it is stories like this that you will likely never hear or read about in any of the mainstream media outlets.
In a Butler County, Ohio Sheriff’s Office, a woman and her two sons asked the assistance of someone behind the counter regarding housing assistance.
Deputy Brian Bussell heard something in her question that caused him to pause and take a closer look. What he saw was homeless woman, in desperate need of help and guidance.
Out of respect for her dignity, Deputy Bussell spoke with the woman privately to let her know that he had arranged a 10-day stay or her and her two boys at a local hotel. However, he did not stop there.
He took them to a local Walmart and told them to go buy some new clothing, and when asked by one of the boys if it would okay to pick out a pair of shoes, Deputy Bussell was more than happy to accommodate.
Each of these things, Deputy Bussell did was on his own dime. He took the initiative and invested himself personally in the situation, as we all should when we see someone in need.
He seeks no accolades and probably would have preferred all this had been kept quiet. However, the mother of the two boys was overjoyed and touched by Bussell’s kindness and shared the experience via social media, posting a picture of Bussell with her sons. As a result, Bussell’s boss, Sheriff Richard Jones, found out and couldn’t be more proud.
“This speaks volumes in light of all the recent negativity people are saying about law enforcement. I have some of the best employees here.”
Yes, he does!
