Tick-tock, tick-tock …how much longer? In homage to that would be terrorist jokester, Ahmed Mohamed, otherwise known as “clock boy,” we count down and wonder how much longer until he and his family leave our land. He is moving to Qatar!

For his part, Ahmed is excited and can’t wait!

“I loved the city of Doha because it’s so modern."

“I saw so many amazing schools there, many of them campuses of famous American universities. The teachers were great. I think I will learn a lot and have fun too.”

Don’t let Lady Liberty kick you in the butt too hard on your way out.

Ahmed’s sister, Eyman, is also looking forward to it;

“Qatar is in the Arab world, but it also feels like Texas. It’s like Texas in Qatar.”

Is that laughable or what?

Well, Eyman, here’s to hoping you like wearing a rug. We’ve heard there is quite an array of fashion choices when it comes to the Abayya, Hijab, Chador, Niqab, and Burqa.. Would you like black,or black? Judging by the way your female family members dress, it probably won’t be too long before you're donning one of these, are married off to someone older than your father, and wearing a metal chastity belt-like thing to hold your sheet in place and hide most of your face, if you are not relegated to an eye-slit.

Qatar is ruled by a "tolerant" Sharia Law enforcing family, the Al-Thanis, human rights violators and slave-industry endorsers extraordinaire. Did we mention you have no free speech, no right to vote? Well, on that last one you do, it's just that the Al-Thanis' don't allow elections.

Yay! Fun all around.

Ba-bye! Ya’all don’t ever come back now, ya’ hear!
