Well, ya’ know, she TRIED not to lie.  That counts for something right? After all, it can be so hard to just tell the truth.

Democrat candidate for the position of Liar-In-Chief, Hillary Clinton, is continuing her foxtrot around the truth. Frankly, if this really was a race for L-I-C, she would win, hands-down. Lord knows she has master at her game.

When asked by Scott Pelley, of CBS, “You know in ’76, Jimmy Carter famously said, ‘I will not lie to you.”

Clinton, doing her best impersonation of herself, said, “Well, I will tell you, I have tried in every way I know how, literally from my years as a young lawyer, all the way through my time as secretary of state, to level with the American people

There’s that word, “TRIED.”

Pelley would not give up, and asked her if she ALWAYS told the truth. To which Hillary says, “I have always tried, to, always, always.”

She is pretty good at doing “The Worm,” we gotta give her that. For his part, Pelley doesn’t. “Some people are going to call that wiggle room that you just gave yourself ‘always, always tried to.” He goes on, “I mean, Jimmy Carter said, I will never lie to you.”

She then TRIES to circle the wagons with, “I don’t believe I ever have…I don’t believe I ever will.”

Well,, TRY as we might, we don’t BELIEVE you ever will be able to tell the TRUTH, Ms. Clinton.
