While many European leaders are being praised by humanitarians across the world, the massive immigration crisis from the Middle East to Europe also carries with it the potential to introduce many more Islamic radicals into new and expanded locations.

According to multiple anonymous ISIS operatives and sources the terror group is using the massive influx of immigrants to harbor terrorists and get them into European countries.

"It’s our dream that there should be a caliphate not only in Syria but in all the world and we will have it soon, God willing," said the unnamed operative. According to the ISIS fighter close to 4,000 ISIS militants have now crossed into Europe through Hungary, Greece, Italy, and other states that provide easy ingress. With the huge numbers of migrants only increasing it can be safely assumed that the number of fighters will only increase from here on out.

As some political writers and investigators have highlighted, migrating to a new country and bringing your religion with you is looked at as a companion to the typically bloody jihad. As one writer noted "“To emigrate in the cause of Allah – that is, to move to a new land in order to bring Islam there, is considered in Islam to be a highly meritorious act."

However, it is extremely hard to sell the idea that all of the Middle Eastern migrants entering the European Union are militants. Just looking at pictures of them shows that most are just trying to find peace from the wars and death that have destroyed the Middle East.

But counter to that is the fact that the European Union must protect its citizens and its borders. They need to make the borders secure and slowly let the people in through a trickle system that allows checks for weapons and ulterior motives. It will slow things down and make a lot of humanitarians unhappy, but isn't safety and saving lives more important than making people wait a little longer to get to safety?
