Dr. Ben Carson, retired neurosurgeon and Republican presidential candidate has really stepped in it. At least as far as the liberal media, liberal politicians, Sharia Law advocates, and frankly anybody who is interested in seeing the great American experiment end in failure.

Carson’s faint-inducing statement came in response to his being questioned as to whether or not he thinks Muslim should serve as president. His response was no. Was Islam consistent with our Constitution? Again, his answer was no.

“I would not advocate that we put a Muslim in charge of this nation. I absolutely would not agree with that.”

The media are explosive experts. They create incendiary situations just so they can make themselves look like the big heroes of democracy and tolerance. Fortunately for America, Dr. Carson is un-ruffled by their attack tactics.

“I do not believe Sharia is consistent with the Constitution of this country.”

“Muslims feel that their religion is very much a part of your public life and what you do as a public official, and that’s inconsistent with our principles and our Constitution.”

You would think the liberal wing of separation-of-church-and-state would be all over this in agreement with Carson, but no. They attack and try to sway Carson via a public smear campaign. Ignoring the fact that our nation’s roots are in Judaeo-Christian theology and not the tenets of Islam.

Carson, for his part has doubled-down in true American Patriot fashion, and said that whoever is sworn in as president, and whoever has executive authority over this nation, should be,

“…sworn in on a stack of Bibles and not a Koran.”
