Buh-Bye! Police Fed Up, Bulldoze #BLM Protester Camp Outside Of Police Station [WATCH]
Public protesting is an intricate part of our American heritage, it demonstrates to our political leaders that the people’s right to assemble and voice their concerns is one of our inalienable rights as a free and open society, and cannot be abridged.
However when public protesting becomes dangerous, unsafe and perhaps a health issue for both the protesters and the general public at large, or when those demonstrations abridge the rights of others, then it’s just a matter of time before authorities step in to clear the area.
And such was the case in Minneapolis after 18-days of protests from Black Lives Matter who took over an area near a North Minneapolis police station, and setting up a tent city with camp fires burning to stay warm.
However after 18-days of living outdoors, and with mounds of garbage and human waste mounting it was well overdue that the so-called political activists had to be cleared from the area.
These BlackLivesMatter brats posing as 'activists' are wasting the city's time and money that could be used for pretty much anything better than this. Are these protestors or people who are homeless with nothing better to do and not particularly in the mood to look for work?
Police gave protesters about 10 minutes to leave on their own before they moved in wearing riot gear and driving a police bulldozer.
Seven people were arrested on charges of obstruction of justice and one person was arrested on trespassing charges.
Mayor Betsy Hodges said the move was needed because it became clear after many conversations with protesters that they would not be moving voluntarily.
Police Chief Janeé Harteau said, the police department has spent over $750,000 on overtime in dealing with the protesters.
