Last night's debate was filled with attacks and jabs at both Hillary and Trump, as was expected. However, it seemed Trump received a few extra attacks that weren't from his opponent, Hillary Clinton. It seems that the 'unbiased' moderator for the debate, NBC’s Lester Holt, had some of his own opinions that he felt he needed to share.

Lester Holt felt that he needed to do a bit of 'fact-checking' against Trump of his own, well before the debate was even over. He has since received a good bit of heat for his 'fact-checking,' mostly because he was blatantly wrong.

One of the more heated exchanges between Trump and Holt came when Holt insisted that Trump supported the Iraq War from the beginning even when Trump insisted that this was not true, reports USA Politics Today.

Holt insisted that in an interview with Fox News' Neil Cavuto, Trump was clearly in support of the Iraq War. Of course Holt made no attempts to highlight the fact that Hillary had been in support of the war, nor did he even ask her why she voted for it.

Later, Cuvato made sure to air the interview in question and it clearly displayed that Trump definitely had his reservations about invading Iraq.

"You know, what happened to the days of Douglas MacArthur? I mean he would go in and attack. He wouldn’t talk. I mean we have to, you know, it’s sort of like either do it or don’t do it," Trump explained.

"Well, he’s (Bush) either got to do something or not do something perhaps. Because perhaps he shouldn’t be doing it yet. Perhaps we should be waiting for the United Nations. You know, he’s under a lot of pressure," said Trump, clearly expressing his doubts about invading Iraq.

You can watch the full interview in the video below:

Rather than attacking Trump for his supposed support of the war he should have ripped into Hillary for voting for the war when she was in a position, where she had much more knowledge of foreign affairs.

Once again, the mainstream media has decided to try to make a mockery of what should have been a very intellectual debate to demonstrate the merit of each candidate (or lack of merit in Hillary's case).

Trump's no rookie to dealing with slander and the mainstream media trying to twist his words. He not only held his own against Hillary but he also managed to "trump" the 'unbiased' moderator and the rest of the mainstream media and prove that he doesn't need any outside help to win a debate, and he certainly doesn't need any help winning the election. I'm not sure Hillary can say the same.
