The lightening rod who is Donald Trump is at it again. He has bailed on Thursday’s Fox New Republican debate, opting to not engage Megyn Kelly.

It’s certainly not fear of her, because the guy seems incapable of that emotion. It is almost like he can’t be bothered.

Sure, he is putting the spot-light on himself in taking this approach. He has even managed to get CNN to air his veterans fundraising event simultaneous to the debate on the rival station. In doing so, he has split the spot-light with Fox News in more ways than one.

First, there is the “scandal” of he and Kelly’s past debate interactions, his incendiary comments, his suggestion she is no good, and so on.

Now he has pulled out the ACE that he has had stored up his sleeve, and it is a bit of a doozy. We all know that Trump has been out stumping for the fix of our broken immigration system. He has made himself very clear on the matter.

It turns out the chasm of a relationship with Fox News Channel has more to do with founder and CEO, Rupert Murdoch, than it has to do with Kelly.

The Partnership for a New American Economy is the problem. What is that you ask? That would be the lobbying group, of whom Murdoch is a board member, which championed the Gang of Eight’s version of immigration reform.

In fact, they were fully in the Gang of Eight’s corner back in 2013. Murdoch and some of his top brass it would seem.  Murdoch wants more H-1B and H-2B visas, which ultimately means more American people out of work.

Hmmm. Maybe the FNC news teams should keep that one in the back of their head. After all, wouldn’t such visa support potentially jeopardize their own jobs?  Just thinking…

Doesn’t sound so fair and balanced.

Chalk another one up for Trump. He is certainly the puppet master of the media.
