In the seamy world of politics, a “campaign promise” once a politician gets elected to office is “no promise.” And perhaps that the reason why the political pundits on the left, still can’t seem to wrap their minds around the fact that Trump’s promises isn’t a  “campaign promise” but rather a warning from one business man to another, that doing business in America has changed.

Trump’s tweet Tuesday morning reminding General Motors that there will be ramifications for companies manufacturing abroad, is simply a businessman who also just happens to be in a few weeks the 45th President of the United States, working out a deal with the auto manufacture,

Trump’s tweet simply stated the obvious: "General Motors is sending Mexican made model of Chevy Cruze to U.S. car dealers-tax free across border, “Make in U.S.A. or pay big border tax!"

In a statement, however, GM said that it’s model Chevy Cruze is actually made in Ohio, however the international version of the Cruze, is made in Mexico, then admitted that it does sell “some” of those vehicles in the US.

A spokesperson for GM acknowledged:  "GM builds the Chevrolet Cruze hatchback for global markets in Mexico, with a small number sold in the US."

Moreover one thing seems evident since Trump won the election; his word seems to be his bond, which is something that Americans haven’t witnessed in 8-long years.
