You know what they say about the company you keep.

On Thursday, a federal court jury found Obama gal pal Corrine Brown guilty on 18 out of 22 fraud and tax evasion charges after prosecutors said the former Florida state rep stole thousands from her One Door for Education Foundation scholarship fund.

Turned out the "one door" was a one-way ticket for direct deposit -- straight into Brown's personal bank accounts.

"They’re trying to destroy my life,” a stunned Brown shouted as the jurors filed out of the Jacksonville court room after reaching their verdicts.

The jury found Brown, a Democrat, guilty on 11 counts of aiding and abetting mail fraud and three counts of filing a false tax return.

She was also found guilty of corruptly endeavoring to obstruct or impede the due administration of IRS laws and engaging in a scheme to conceal material facts.

You were an attorney. What say you, Barack H. Obama?

According to WJCT, "Assistant U.S. Attorneys Tysen Duva and Eric Olshan painted Brown as an egotistical politician who lived beyond her means. Using bank records, checks, letters, emails and hundreds of other documents, prosecutors made the case Brown directed the deposit of $37,000 of One Door cash into her account. They also claimed she was instrumental in planning nine events that cost the sham charity $330,000."

Funny how Democrats who rail against Republican corruption will manage to get caught with their own fingers stuck deep in the cookie jar. Of course, like children, they know not what they do. And when the jig's up, they blame it on someone else.

Brown tried to pin the entire fraud and tax evasion scheme on her former chief of staff Elias "Ronnie" Simmons, who pleaded guilty and then testified against Brown.

You know the old saying about honor among thieves.

This is what President Trump meant by "draining the swamp," but with a little unexpected help from corrupt Democrats.

Please share your comments if Corrine Brown should be made to pay the money she stole back into the scholarship fund she set up.
