President Barack Obama has been acting like a bull in a china shop with his last days in office. He has been wreaking havoc like there's no tomorrow, and, thankfully, for him soon there won't be, at least not in office. His latest move that was met with global outrage was when he completely betrayed Israel and expected no sort of recourse. Well, it would appear his luck has finally run out and he and the rest of the world are about to learn that actions have consequences.

After the recent anti-Israel vote made by the U.N. and Palestine, many Americans were pretty unhappy with this back stabbing move, and it looks like some of America's congressmen aren't going to take this move sitting down.

According to Washington Free Beacon, several unnamed congressional leaders have stated that there are big moves being made by Congress to potentially defund the U.N. and even force Palestinian diplomats off American territory.

They even hinted that the U.S. could be moving to cutting back diplomatic connections with the countries that voted for the anti-Israel decision.

However, it may not be over yet. These congressional leaders warned that Obama and the rest of his administration may be planning to take additional anti-Israel measures before he leaves office.

One of the most prominent of these congressional leaders that has declared that he will not stand for this betrayal is Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. Cruz recently posted on Facebook blasting Obama for his attack on Israel.

"President Obama, Secretary Kerry, Ambassador Power, and their colleagues should remember that the United States Congress reconvenes on Jan. 3, and under the Constitution we control the taxpayer funds they would use for their anti-Israel initiatives," Said Cruz.

"The 115th Congress must stop the current administration’s vicious attack on our great ally Israel, and address the major priorities of the incoming administration," he continued.

Just after the original vote, Sen. Cruz took to Facebook explaining that he would work "to significantly reduce or even eliminate U.S. funding of the United Nations, and also to seriously reconsider financial support for the nations that supported this resolution."

"For those who have put your name to this despicable attack on Israel, you did so with full knowledge of the consequences of your actions," he added.

This could be very bad for the U.N. considering the U.S. is one of the global body's largest financiers, spending an estimated $8 billion on the organization and related affiliates each year, which is more than 185 or the 193 countries combined, according to Fox News. It will be interesting to see what the U.N. would do without all that money. They probably will be rethinking another major action against Israel in the near future.

Please share this on Facebook and let us know if you think the U.S. should defund the U.N.
