To listen to Hillary, Obama, Schumer and Pelosi among their other Democrat friends, the presidential election was hacked, hijacked and held ransom by Russian President Vladimir Putin for the purpose of putting Donald Trump in the White House.

Despite the lack of evidence and the unequivocal opinion of former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper that none was found, the mainstream media is pushing the narrative that the new president is nothing but a tool of “the Russians” who not only tried to influence the election, but actually succeeded in swaying the vote in favor of their preferred candidate.

Forgotten in the overwrought handwringing of what can now only be called “former” journalists like MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, Joy Reid, Stephanie Ruhle, Chuck Todd, Chris Matthews and newly-rehabilitated pathological lair Brian Williams, as well as network personalities like Mika Brzezinski, Keith Olbermann, Lawrence O’Donnell, Whoopi Goldberg is the active interference in foreign elections by… President Obama and his administration.

Although Obama’s unsuccessful effort to influence the “Brexit” election in June 2016 is well-known – and resented by Britons who did not take kindly to the U.S. president traveling to the U.K. to make speeches threatening that the country would “go to the back of the line” for future trade deals if it disregarded his stern warning, that is just one of many attempts to manipulate free elections around the world for a pro-Obama result.

A report from the U.S. Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations (PSI) revealed that $349,276 in U.S. taxpayer-funded grants was given to a political group in Israel by the State Department to influence Israelis to elect “anyone” other than Benjamin Netanyahu as prime minister.

Obama’s strained relations with Netanyahu were well known and documented.

Now, senators are drawing on information from the complaints made by foreign diplomats to request an investigation into Obama’s efforts to influence their elections.

The call for the probe goes to newly sworn-in Secretary of State Rex Tillerson to determine the extent to which U.S. taxpayer money was sent to extreme and sometimes violent political activists,” according to the letter sent from Republican Sens. Mike Lee (UT), Jim Inhofe (OK.), Thom Tillis (NC), Ted Cruz (TX), David Perdue (GA) and Bill Cassidy (LA).

The letter also requests that the investigation confirm that taxpayer money was given to organizations run by behind-the-scenes billionaire George Soros.

Sen. Lee released a statement about the complaints of foreign leaders about Obama’s interference.

“Over the past few months, elected officials and political leaders of foreign nations have been coming to me with disappointing news and reports of U.S. activity in their respective countries.”

“This includes reports of diplomats playing political favorites… and the U.S. government working to marginalize the moderates and conservatives in leadership roles.”

Lee said the “political favoritism” is detrimental to the relationships the U.S. seeks to establish and maintain with other countries.

The requested investigation would “review the programs, accounts, and multiplicity of U.S. entities involved in such activities.”

The lawmakers closed the letter to Tillerson putting the new Secretary of State to an early test, with a demand that interference with elections in foreign countries “must stop immediately.”
