After the sudden firing of Fox’s Bill O’Reilly who hosted perhaps the longest running number one cable news show in history, the sudden firing of Tim Allen my comparison seems almost anticlimactic.

Moreover, the powers-that-be, although outwardly dissimilar share a common goal. With Fox, the new leftist management is attempting to slowly change it’s demographics to a more progressive leaning format, while Allen’s sudden cancellation is simply ABC’s warning to those conservative performers to keep silent or lose your job.

Allen’s sin was that he spoke out about the issues on his show, and then again within his own personal life, by announcing publicly his support for President Trump.

And although the ratings for the sitcom “Last Man Standing” by all accounts was “solid” the subject matter especially on a progressive network like ABC, was simply not within the script of progressive orthodoxy, and it was just a matter of time before management decided to pull the plug on Allen.

Ironically the cancellation comes after a series of public statements by Allen taking issue with the media and in support of President Trump; “What I find odd in Hollywood is that they didn’t like Trump because he was a bully, but if you had any kind of inkling that you were for Trump, you got bullied for doing that. And it gets a little bit hypocritical to me."

However there seems to be a groundswell growing that apparently ABC executives did not anticipate, and there now appears that a BOYCOTT may be inevitable, with over 100,000 signatures collected from disgruntled and angry Tim Allen fans stating within the petition that “Last Man Standing” is “a show that appeals to a broad swath of Americans who find very few shows that extol the virtues with which they can identify; namely conservative values.”

Even GOP governor Scott Walker took notice of the politically charges decision:

Moreover, according to “The Daily Wire” a similar petition has been sent to Congress by PetitionCongess.org demanding an investigation behind the abrupt cancellation.

The petition states clearly, “With a plethora of ultra-liberal shows available on television, this show stood out from the rest and motivated conservatives who voted for President Trump. Please demand that Congress investigate whether LMS was canceled for political reasons.”

Please SHARE this on Facebook if you think ABC deserves to be boycotted for playing politics that favor the left.
